I’m Skyler Hopkins—a Seattle-based photographer working across sports and lifestyle portraits. I shoot with a Sony A7IV and spend most of my time chasing good light across the city, from South Lake Union rooftops to the light rail platforms of Capitol Hill.

My approach is simple: no studio, no manufactured backdrops, no poses that feel like poses. I work on location in real Seattle neighborhoods using available natural light, letting the city itself become part of the frame. The result is work that looks intentional—because it is.

During the week I work in tech, which means I understand exactly what a strong LinkedIn headshot needs to communicate. On weekends, I’m out shooting—whether that’s a couples session at golden hour or sideline action at a local game.
