Do I need to know how to pose?
No. I direct every shot: where to stand, what to do with your hands, when to move. Most people who say they hate being photographed just haven't had real direction before.
Can we shoot at more than one location?
Yes. A Signature session might start at sunrise on the waterfront and finish twenty minutes later at the Grand Avenue Park overlook. A Premium session has room for a third stop, like downtown Everett or Capitol Hill, if you want more range in the final gallery. See full pricing →
What if it's raining?
Overcast Seattle light is some of the best light for portraits: soft and even, with no harsh shadows. Sessions rarely need to be rescheduled for weather.
What should I wear?
Solid colors and simple patterns hold up best against real backgrounds like brick, water, or skyline. If you're not sure, send a photo of what you're considering before the session and I'll tell you if it'll work with the location.
What if I need to reschedule?
Reschedule with more than 72 hours' notice and there's no fee. Inside 72 hours, rescheduling costs 10% of your session price. Canceling outright, at any time, means losing the 35% booking retainer.
